Life would be so much easier if the thoughts I held while falling asleep lined up with the ones I have while waking. The difference between my feelings, opinions, and motivations depending upon what time of day it is really fucks me up. It makes carrying out plans and accomplishing goals almost impossible. Short term things that can be completed in a few hours or less are fine, I can easily do that stuff, but long form stuff, it’s completely locked off from me. I hope that this is simply conditioning, and that I can undo it at some point, because otherwise I’ll just be washing the dishes and doing laundry forever.
